We recently had an electrician come and check out one of the Fijian fans in our lounge. In checking it out he discovered that the speed control capacitor which came with the Fijian fan should have been installed when the new fan was installed but it still had an old switch which was not really compatible with the new fan. In other words, the old speed controllers were not changed which should have been done and we're now having problems with them. Only one speed control capacitor was checked out but we have a feeling that the issue is the same with the other 3 fans.The cost of these is $25 each and we suspect that the Bomatu Electrical took all four of them.
