Ian McRae & Son

We have been chasing Ian up for the past 3 months for a slip resistant report for his works which is the final step needed for our building completion certificate. Multiple emails, texts and phone calls with bearly no response. Very frustrating for it must be a common request for any DA and we cannot comply without it.

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A BUSINESS. RIPPED US OFF. TOOK OUR MONEY AND DAMAGED OUR FLOORS. KEEP WELL AWAY

Terrible experience. Booked with 5 weeks notice and he cancelled via text message night before he was to prep our entire floor. Was left with an uninhabitable home, holiday booked and a hysterical pregnant wife expecting in 3 weeks. During the frantic call around to find a replacement other operators new it was McRae who had ditched on me before I'd even mentioned his name.
Never been burnt this badly by a tradie before.
Avoid

I Loved everything about this experience. Ian and his boys know everything there is to know about floors. Seriously. These guys know everything about every kind of floor.

What's awesome is that they actually take the time to get to know you and what these floors are going to exposed to every day. They didn't try to sell me the most expensive options (although we looked at those too) but the best products for what we wanted to do. Not sure if Ian McRae Floors Newcastle are the cheapest choice, but they are totally worth every penny for the quality of service and support. Thank you Ian I couldn't be more pleased, and yes you are right my neighbours are envious!
