I am a tradesman of 26 years and recently employed Get up there roofing to restore and repair the roof of my fathers house, I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and the promptness to which it was done. Richard was very easy to deal with and made the whole process stress free for me as I am busy running my own carpentry business, The team went above and beyond and I would highly recommend anyone looking to get your roof repairs done! 10/10

The finish on my roof restoration is perfect. It looks brand new. All done within a few days of the initial quote and at a great price. I thought I might be up for the cost of a new roof (given the state it was in beforehand). Rich promised that a simple restoration was all it needed. He wasn't wrong. A great operator.

Richard from Get up There Roofing is the kind of tradesman I have come to loathe. I organised for Richard to quote cleaning the gutters of my elderly mothers home. Richard provided a quote, assured that the job really wasn't that complicated and gave us price to which my mother agreed. And then we waited, and waited. We accepted the quote on May the 18th and told Richard we were happy to go ahead when ever he could start. May the 28th came, and surprise surprise, no Richard. I messaged him, he stated he was away and would "sort it out as soon as I get back". June 12th, no Richard! Another message, asked for a firm start date or to let us know if he had decided not to do the job, more than fair I thought. Wednesday the 13th Richard says he will be there Sunday at 9.30 to start the job. Great! Sunday the weather was foul and I really didn't think Richard would show, he didn't, of coarse a text would be nice. Tuesday the 19th of June Richard texts to say sorry, it was too wet and he has it in his diary for the following Saturday. Okay fair enough, although I am starting to wonder why he only wants to come weekends, maybe this is just a side gig. Saturday comes and goes and no Richard and no text. I have since contacted Richard and now he won't reply at all. So 6 weeks wasted to the guy who said he was local, and known in the community suggesting of coarse he would do the right thing. Well my advice is to bypass this local guy- save you self some time and angst.
