I've been going to 161 Hairroom for a few years now and have always been satisfied with my hair end result. Staff is always friendly.

They have just introduced me to Amargan Hair Therapy products and i couldn't be more happier. Thank you guys. I LOVE the range.

Well, I booked in for a full head of foil. Sharlene was very helpful, very professional with a 100% bubbly happy personality! I told her what I want and she explained very clear what needs to be done to get the colour that I want. Than I asked her how much all together and she quoted my hair will be $255 max for everything meaning...Full head of foils, cover the greys, bleach, hair treatment, cut and blow wave. So we got the foils done and while I was waiting for the colour to set I decided to get my nails done and I was told it's gel nails at $60 and they showed me these shampoo, conditioner and oil to keep my colour last longer. Small shampoo and conditioner at $26.95 each and small bottle of purple oil for $49.95. At the end of the day the owner charged me $481.50. Anyway I went home and told my husband and he said to me, Did they serve you coffee? Yes, and he said how many coffee did you have? 2 so that's $5.95 per coffee and than he asked me what else and I said, there were 2 other staff members were helping with applying the colour and washing of my hair and he said...that's $55.30 each for their help...WOW! who does that? To me it's only greedy people who have the guts to take advantages of vulnerable good hearted customers...Good Luck and I hope you took enough home to feed your family.

I would just like to say a massive THANK YOU to the beautiful Rose! I had balayage and extentions done with Rose today. Even though it was a long process for the both of us she gave me her full attention and listened to exactly what I wanted. She gave me good advice on maintaining my new colour and keeping my hair healthy. She talked me through everything she put in my hair and made sure I was happy every step of the way. All staff there are so friendly, i Would definitely recommend this salon!!! LOVE MY NEW HAIR!!! THANK YOU XXX

I have been going to see Rose at 161 for 4 years now and I am always very happy when I walk out. Her styles are fantastic, up to date and very very reasonably priced. I love also that she doesn't waste time so you are sitting there for the time required rather than 4 hours for a cut and colour like I have been subjected to by previous hairdressers. You certainly feel like a pampered client when you walk out.

Been to this salon a few times now, after trying to find a new one in the area ,loved the experience the girls are so friendly and feel welcome everytime.. They always do a great job and leave the salon very happy !! Will definatly reccomend...

I was in on Thursday had 1/2 head of foils, which in my view was less than half. There is not much color and it's dull. Very minimal cut off my length & a spec cut off my fringe which all took 5 minutes. Then at my request a quick dry. My hair was a little damp when I left. I was charged a massive $190. Very shocked. Prices keep going up by at least $20 every time. When I checked my credit card statement I was actually charged $195. I consider this a complete rip off. Would never come in again or recommend you to anyone.
