I startedy my building journey with Domaine by CLARENDON in December of 2023, with it completed in September 2024. I initially reached out to them on the 10th of September 2024 and made several attempts to contact Clarendon via social media platform, Facebook, and their website. Despite the "Feedback Pathways" on their website stating that Clarendon Management would respond within three days, I did not receive a response for nearly THREE WEEKS. I was contacting them to express my dissatisfaction with communication, customer service, a delayed settlement, and seeking compensation given I'd taken leave for a hand over that NEVER happened!
Eventually I was contacted by an Area Manager (AM). During my conversation with the AM they acknowledged that Clarendon's communication throughout the settlement process was INADEQUATE. (Thanks for siding with me on that one!) However, they also suggested that I should bear some responsibility for a delayed settlement due to my valuer's delayed completion of their task. While I understand the importance of timely valuation, I believe that the primary cause of the delay lies with Clarendon's inconsistent communication and lack of a designated customer service contact. Over the course of the build, I dealt with SIX different consultants (including three, in just the last three months) which made it difficult to receive accurate and timely updates. AM mentioned that had THEY been personally overseeing my house building project, they would have followed up with me REGULARLY to ensure the valuation was completed on time, allowing for settlement to proceed as originally scheduled. I strongly believe that if Clarendon had provided a CONSISTENT point of contact, and communicated to me regularly throughout the construction process, valuation could have been completed in a timely manner, and then the original settlement would have proceeded on the scheduled date, as communicated.
Settlement was ultimately delayed due to incomplete termite protection paperwork from Clarendon's end, which in turn delayed the release of a Form 21. Had Clarendon exercised due diligence by maintaining clear communication and assigning a reliable contact, both the valuation and necessary paperwork would have been completed on time.
I have nothing but dissatisfaction with the ongoing challenges I faced throughout my building experience with Clarendon. What should have been an exciting and smooth process has instead been consistently marred by inadequate communication, lack of transparency, and a general unwillingness from their staff to accept accountability. I would NOT recommend building with Domaine by Clarendon. Find another more RELIABLE and REPUTABLE builder who will see you as more than just a number, and take you seriously, value you, listen to you, understand you and want the best outcome for you! Clarendon didn't provide that to me, so they won't do it for you!

WARNING !!!!! To all those who are looking to build with Clarendon homes.
I am extremely disappointed and absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service I received.
After paying a large sum of money to them (over 400k) I would expect a quality home that clarendon homes advertise.
This was definitely not the case, the house they built is not even sub par.
I have attached the pictures to show what quality products they provide as well as the quality workmanship they so much rave about.
I would like someone from clarendon homes (upper management) to give me a call regarding this.(you have all my details in your system)
and definitely do not want to speak with Anthony (warranty manager) who is a manipulative LIAR !
I had been in contact with clarendon since i received my keys with regards to issues. i had followed their instructions to the letter and yet majority of the works for warranty were not completed.
now because my warranty is over (even though i had listed all the issues within the warranty period) they will not come and finish the work.
LIST OF ISSUES NOT YET RECTIFIED:
1: cracks on door frames.
2: paint work on the ceilings in the bathrooms is not up to par and needs to be painted over again.

This is for all three bathrooms. Needs to be removed and tiled, then the mirror goes on top.
