Uniq Spaces

Engaged this business to build our dream backyard or what we thought. Signed contract in August 2022 still waiting to be completed. Workmanship is the worst any one has seen after reaching out to third party for opinion. Have an independent person at our cost to complete an inspection most things did not meet compliance. Did not return emails, did not turn up when we thought, ignored us, asked for more money when nothing was completed. Ghosted us. Do not go near this business.

Don't bother! We have just been stood up for the SIXTH TIME, trying to fix damage made to our neighbours property. Ours was also damaged in the process of bringing an unsuitable piece of equipment down the side of our house to erect a fence. Further, the rear neighbour displayed damage to the fence on her side, and a mess left in her garden. There were attempts to cover up damage to all fences erected. Emails, texts, phone calls are simply ignored after the no-shows. No more chances now. I've learnt my lesson about going with a far cheaper quote on service. Save yourself and all involved the valuable time and headspace.

They found many defects and fundamental concerns with what was being delivered and even not aligning with the agreed scope of work.



One significant quote from the independent building inspector is "Every aspect of the work has not been performed in a tradesman-like manner as is required by the Building Work Contractors Act 1995." I emailed my concerns to Uniqspaces on 1 March 2023 and how I want the project to be rectified.



As of 20 June, I have followed up 6 times via email and several more via text and call - every attempt was ignored. I have lodged an official complaint with Consumer and Business Services.
