Roma Tiling

Quoted a job for my wife because he's done work for her before. Tries to add items, tiles aren't straight, $800 for 20 minutes of waterproofing. Stay as far away as you can.

Stefan did the plumbing himself when he said he is licensed. He is only a tiler. A professional plumber report confirms illegal connections. It will cost me over 10k to fix. He not gave warranty and no intention to fix faults.

He unlicensed and did illegal plumbing work he did orchestrate the whole bathroom reno which i regrettably found he is not unlicensed to do. He only a tiler which is ordinary. the water flowz imto my hallway znd not into floor drain. There is a common pattern here with reviews.....he has form in dodgy work. I am reporting him to Qbcc to order him to fix all illegal work. He not evem want to fix can you believe this guy!...do not use.

Do not use Stefan, Stefan has done work to our bathroom and laundry including illegal plumbing works that he is not qualified for. Most of this work has had to be pulled out and redone again. His workmanship is of a very average standard and unfinished. P#%$ed off is an under statement, DO NOT USE THIS GUY.

A few years ago Stefan did renovated my bathroom & powder-room, in both of these areas defective work was preformed.

In the bathroom the drain doesn’t catch the excess water from the shower, the tiles sloop downwards leading the water to pool underneath the vanity unit, this has cause water to seep into the wall.

The other defective area is the powder-room, Stefan tilted over an existing Drain within that area.

This has caused major problems.

The Flexi pipe burst and flooded my house causing major damaged to all areas, the insurance claim has exceeded up to & over the $70,000 mark.

When I tried to rectify this situation with Stefan he just accused me of lying and saying he did not tilte over an excising drain.

I have contacted the QBCC regarding these issues and they say that they

can’t help me because I can not provide

sufficient Evidence for his work, I had his one piece of paper that he wrote on, but it got destroyed due to my house flooding.

The other area where Stefan failed to meet standards, was with the fittings & fixtures, after 24 months they started to corrode, Stefan did not give me the warrantys for receipts for these items.

There was another review from a client starting the same situation.

All up I paid Stefan $22,000 to complete these renovates, I regaret giving him my business.

I hope that no one else has to go through what I’m going through with these major defects that has been caused by Stefans work, he should not own a license. I have added in photos of the drain that he coved up which caused my house to flood & the bathroom flooding after each shower

Do not use Stefan for renovations or tiling work.

Stefan did major renovations for us 3 years ago.

I am writing this review after series of frustrating calls and requests of maintenance which Stefan never entertained and honoured the warranty he provided.

Here is my feedback. Mostly negative, I wouldn't use his services again and won't recommend to others.

Negative feedback:

Despite requesting to fix the problems with shower head, bathtub, minor chips, I never get a positive support.
No after installation support.
No respect for the warranty (5 year warranty was mentioned in the hand written paperworks), but when called him to fix, didn't get the support.
No proper paperworks i.e. no receipts of the items installed, no warranty paperworks.
Poor workmanship. Toilet seat malfunctioned in a couple of months after installation.

Positive feedback: Friendly person. The price was reasonable for the value of installation, but not the cheapest.

I highly recommend this company. Stefan renovated our bathroom after my mum had a stroke. He removed old cupboards including asbestos and put in a large tiled shower area. It's so much easier to use now. He did the whole job in 3 days and seemed to have a lot of experience doing disabled bathrooms Thankyou Stefan at Roma tiling.
