I asked this business to take up the hem to some new trousers. Their work was very poor quality. This was a $400 pair of trousers and instead of blind-hemming them, the business ran a basic line of stitching around the hem. Visible, not particularly straight and tacky. The edging of the material inside the hem was also amateur. I now have to take the trousers to a more skilled business to have the damage rectified

I felt this was not a good enough patch job and elastic replacement for the quality of the original designer garments I took here. I shouldn’t have assumed everyone knows how to sew. Maybe need to discuss in more detail the desired result before leaving garments.
