Berlin Bar

With a unique style that's survived the sometimes harsh test of time (particularly for a niche Melbourne bar) the Berlin Bar continues to be a haven for those who like their mixology with a twist of quirk.

Another unique, oh so Melbourne (or is that German?) bar. A unique concept, you enter the bar up a flight of stairs and it feels like youve entered post war West Berlin, and in another section is gritty East Berlin. A fabulous concept, great drinks on hand though they are pricey! Its well worth a visit to this bar though.

What an adventure to get it. Once you found the bar you have to ring a door bell to be let in. Upstairs they have decorated the venue as half east Germany and half west. We were seated in the plush west German side and got to sit in nice booths. Those on the east German side have the pleasure of sitting on crates. Nice little quirky Melbourne bar.
