Gin Palace

Gin palace is a pretty suave lounge. A nice sized place with moody lighting, smooth background tunes and a decent bar. It gets comfortably busy, and is a nice place to come if you want to focus on talking amongst friends.

My friends and I used to go here pretty often. When we were lucky wed manage to get a handful of free lounges which would let us settle in for a good couple of hours to drink, talk and be merry. A nice place to come to get an evening started, or to finish one off.

An oldie but a goodie. The Gin Palace is a small dimly lit cool venue. Lots of old fashioned chairs and couches. Its out in the back room that really is my favourite. Im not sure if its always open or just for functions but its a gorgeous room with fairy lights and vine kind of branches hanging from the ceiling.

A quiet old faithful of Melbourne's cocktail bar scene, Gin Palace is a place to take someone special or a small group of friends for a drink. Inside you'll find ornate seating covered in cushions and little books containing an extensive list of drinks to choose from.

Table service ensures you can sit back and relax while the staff make your cocktails and bring them over to you.
