Great food and beer! Well worth a visit. Recommend booking if you visit on a friday or Saturday evening.

Im not normally a big fan of themed restaurants, but Ive found myself giving this German restaurant/beer house more than one chance. I must admit that the food here is not exactly amazing, however they do actually serve some nice beers. Not a bad little place to come for some after work drinks, or maybe even just to relive some memories for all you the Oktoberfest veterans out there!

If you're after German style food and beer in the city then Hofbrhaus is the place to go. The inside is lots of bare timber benches giving the place a distinctive look which the staff back up with traditional attire.

The menu has what you'd expect - lots of schnitzels and bratwurst on offer along with a few other choices. There are a few vegetarian options on offer but don't expect much.

The important part - the beers! A great selection of HB beers served in big steins as well as some imports will keep you busy here.

They've also got room for groups with a large upstairs room, and are great for lunches as they'll take preorders.
