I love the fancy setting of the place! The entrance, the decor, the stairway, the marble and the old classy feel! It provides the right atmosphere for a fancy high tea.

Cakes are a little pricey, but not unreasonable given their quality and the setting. And like other Laurents, the coffee is nothing amazing so if you want a great coffee, I suggest going to a different cafe instead.
It can get busy here, but there's another level upstairs too so make sure you try looking for a table there first before giving up.
