I love Miss Louise. It's true that the ladies who run the store give frank and direct advice but in my experience, they are usually right! And you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to. I have walked out without buying anything plenty of times and I have bought things plenty of times too. I love everything I bought there.

Considering my experience at Miss Louise - the poor reviews relating to abhorrent customer service are of no surprise. I always try to support small business, however, will never return to this store.
I committed to buying a bag after I also had tried on shoes. I was not overly fond of the shoes but it was clear the lady wanted to up sale. As she continued to push the shoes I stated “I’ll just take the bag it’s beautiful, I’ll leave the shoes, I guess I am more of a bag person”. Her response (whilst eye rolling) was “well you can’t wear a bag on your feet”. Her disdain for me not deciding to purchase both items was very apparent.
At this point my sister left the store as she was completely disgusted in the response and felt disrespected. I followed her out and asked the lady to hold the bag. My sister instructed me not to spend a dollar at the store (I was about to drop a couple of thousand).
As I wanted the bag, I returned to the store and explained to the manager how my sister had felt about the comment - customer feedback is always welcome right? No, not here. The apparent owner of the store (not the manager who was lovely and who I was dealing with) insisted the sales assistance wasn’t rude. She continued to present as extremely ‘worked up’ about my feedback and become disproportionately defensive and patronising when I calmly explained how the comment was rude and customer feedback ought to be welcomed.
Nevertheless, I was in the store in good faith happy to purchase the bag. I did not want a discount, I wanted to feel heard.
The lady continued to carry on whilst the manager and sales assistant tried to manage her behaviour - aggressively walking up and down the store and interrupting discussions with the manager and I. This was clearly her regular presentation as the manager was trying her best to diffuse the situation and you could tell she had done this before.
Based on their service, this store will be going downhill (if it hasn’t already). Do not waste your time, got to Harrods and explore the beauty of the other high end stores (and there impeccable service) on Collins street.

Unnecessarily rude. My sister and I were after some bridal shoes and were stopped immediately upon entering, a worker saying in a patronising tone, 'Can we do something for you girls? Are you going to try something on?'
Her body language and tone blatantly suggested that she thought our appearances were not worthy of her time.
If you enjoy pleasuring yourself with shop assistants who will do anything for a $100 commission, then go for it. Otherwise, perhaps you can spend thousands of dollars on something more productive than the attempt to redeem your self-worth with unattractively bizarre footwear.

Worst customer service in Melbourne. Rude unhelpful staff who cannot be bothered. Very few shoe sizes available. People have stopped going there because their staff are rude and the shoes lack class. The shoes are good for high end call girls. They now have sale after sale because their over priced shoes just arent selling! I wouldnt go there.
