P.H.A.T. Returns

Great service yet again with Travis. Realised today we have been doing our Tax with Travis for 17 years! Wow how time disappears. We love the fact that no matter where we live in Australia, we can do our returns over the phone with ease.



Travis is professional, does everything by the book & has a great sense of humour. We will continue doing our taxes with Travis until he retires!

Absolutely terrible service..... Not only is the website misleading but the service and professionalism of the tax agents is appalling.



Travis Paine who is the owner of the business is rude and unprofessional. He and his team go against everything it states on the website.



It states on there website “Our fee structure is outlined at the start of the booking” which is misleading and incorrect.



I was never told I would be charged at the start of my booking, not to mention still be charged $269.00 for a 5 minute consultation without even completing the return !



Travis Paine and the Phat tax team mislead hard working Australians and defence force personnel to fill their pockets and laugh at the victims whilst they do it.



If anyone you know is thinking about going through Phat tax returns remember this review..

very similar experience as the guy below and other reviews, they cost much more for much less return with all the hassles they take you through the process.

Be aware they will charge you once you get the quote from them regardless of lodgement.

They will use a collection agency or lawyer to get you to pay off if you try not to.

Did a return with this crew, the price came at the end of the interview and was higher than I expected from the quoted range.



I was not happy with the service, and declined to use them. I offered to pay half, that was not enough for them. They had my details and are partnered with a debt collection agency so had no choice but to pay them off.



I wish someone had told me about this before I got involved with them, just be real careful before you give them your details because it can cost you

I was not happy with return, was surprised by the cost at the end of the call and still charged full price after declining to use them.
