Regent Theatre

The Regent Theatre ismagnificent and full of character. If you have an opportunity to see a show here I'd highly recommend it, even to just see the venue itself! There is such a rich atmosphere here when seeing a show. It's been refurbished so it's all very grand and the facilities are good.

The Regent theatre will be home to King Kong for the next few months. It is a beautifully restored art deco building with lots of copper. I like to go to Bistro DOrsay across the road for dinner before a show there as you can look across at the Regent and the entire street scape could be from New York or London in the 1920s. Even better is the ballroom underneath the Regent it is my favourite ever party venue it is the most impressive gothic space in Melbourne.
