The Salvation Army

As a single mother who had sought help from The Salvation Army in the past I was absolutely appalled by their recent television commercial seeking $5 monthly donations essentially so that single mothers aren’t forced back with their partners. How tone deaf and completely misleading. When I sort help with accomodation I was turned away. I was offered zero help. With anything. Zip. Nada. Not even referral elsewhere. Apparently there was nothing they could do. I will never forget that. What exactly they do with all of their tax-free income from their thousands of stores and donations from the public is beyond me.
