Cars For Children

On the 12/08/2021 bought a ride on bike for $200 for my daughters 4th birthday present after bringing the bike home, my daughter wasn't able ride it properly because the bike had limited turning and was a little dangerous as my daughter kept on hitting into walls etc.,



so I called the owner and told him what happened with the bike and I requested him that I want to exchange to a car, but he refused to exchange the bike and he said that you have to purchase another car.

I didn't take no for a answer and went back to his shop to get the bike exchanged, his worker was there and I had him look at the bike, he said that all the bikes have limited turning,



I offered the worker to take the bike back and give me a car instead with me paying the difference , he didn't want to exchange , but I kept demanding for a exchange .



so then he agreed and that's when I paid an extra $100 for a Red TOYOTA LAND CRUISER Electric ride on car on the 15th august 2021, after two days of purchase, my daughter was driving the car in our yard then the car stopped working , one of the wheel motors stopped working



I took the car back to the shop, and spoke to another worker and explained what happened, his worker said the owner would have to look at the car, so I left the car at the shop



I called the owner and explained to him what happened, he said if its his fault he would fix the motor for free, but if it was my fault I will need to pay $35 for the motor, so I said how could it be my fault I've only had this car for two days,



I demanded him to fix it for free but he didn't agree, I said that I've only had this car for two days and how could the motor already stop working, he said the these motors could brake in 5mins,



so I responded why are you selling these faulty cars to people. I told him that I wasn't happy with his customer service and I was going to take this further to fair trading, the owner didn't care ..



also I've asked other places that sells cars and they know this guy sells cheap faulty stuff, they said he shouldn't be selling those cars as they are not licensed car toys, in other words that the Quality is very cheap and don't last.

I'm very angry that this shop just charged me $300 for two days of fun for my daughter , now she's upset that her present is broken
