MURRAY RIVER GOD

Stefano's is expensive, of course it is, especially for a country restaurant, but having eaten here recently I am wont to proclaim- Stefano is a Murray River god.

What I liked most was the way they accommodated families so generously in an upscale establishment. They offered children a reduced rate and thankfully for other diners a side room to be themselves.

The food was divine, as you would expect, and the seven courses built to a crescendo with a decadent desert.

The ambiance, the staff, the food and night were on a par - excellent.
