The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Even when I wanted more done than what was covered by my insurance claim they completed the extra work as a private job without any hassles.

Like others, we have had to deal with Murray Maintenance as a result of an insurance claim, much to our detriment.
While the tradesman/estimator who attended site each visit was initially easy going and friendly, that changed when our loss assessor was not present.
The worst behaviour was on the most recent visit, where upon opening the front door and greeting the same tradesman, who was, judging by his body language, quite angry, entered without seeking permission or acknowledging myself or my partner, then stormed unaccompanied through our house into the damaged area (master bedroom) while we spoke to the accompanying plumber.
The rest of the visit wasn’t any smoother; asking to view the results of the tests performed had the tradesman snap ‘NO, you can deal with (my insurance company)’.
When questioning the reason for the hostile, aggressive behaviour we received an explanation that we had accused him of not documenting the results last time, and that he had in fact written them down.
We did make a comment to our loss assessor about previous test results not being photographically documented, so perhaps a miscommunication at some point, but surely that doesn’t justify the treatment we received?
To top it off, he then remained parked out the front of our house for an extended period chatting to the plumber, only to silently glare at my partner when she walked past to go to work.
Intimidated, upset and anxious about any future visits; this is how we felt after our experience with Murray Maintenance.
We were relieved to hear from our loss assessor that as a result of this behaviour the same tradesman/estimator will not be returning to our home.

We recently had the misfortune of having to deal with this business because of an insurance claim. It was a nightmare from start to finish. We were bullied and treated badly as a result of only wanting contractors in the house between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm (school run) and because we wouldn't accept a different colour laminate to fix the water damaged cupboard. I doubt that many people would accept a mismatch of kitchen cupboard colour. As a result, their carpenter stormed out without offering us any other colour choice from his colour chip selection. They refused to send out a different carpenter and instead, made us go into town and choose the colour from the showroom selection, saying that it was either that or we couldn't have the job done. Thank God all of the other tradies and the loss adjuster from the RAA were so obliging and understanding. They are way too good to be tied up with the likes of Murray Maintenance.

I found this business to be very helpful when we experienced water damage. They were quick to respond and the workmanship was brilliant.
