I had an old pair of Italian shoes repaired. They now look like new. Excellent workmanship.

My 11 year old designer shoes were superbly re-healed and looked fresh and new; excellent workmanship.

I asked for a shortened strap on a brand new bag. I put a pin in place to show exactly how much length I wanted taken off and when I got it back it was about 25-30cm shorter than what I asked for. I can barely get the strap over my shoulder. When calling to ask about this, the owner seemed defensive immediately and started blaming me for the error and saying how long he had been in the businesses and that the product I got back was ‘perfection’. When I expressed again that this was not the length I asked for, he continued to be rude and aggressive in his tone. He did not take the time to listen, did not take responsibility and refused to give a refund. Very dissatisfied with the product and the customer service.

Dropped off a watch to have a battery changed. Received the watch back with chunks out of the back from where it has been opened with the wrong tools. On approaching him about this, he said it was from sand at the beach ! When I said no it was from you he crossed his arms and said prove it. We argued for several minutes on this and then wanted to take me to his friend who was a polisher, I presume a jeweller, who was going to prove it was from sand at the beach. I said why don’t we take it to my friend who can prove it’s from being opened with the wrong tools. He didn’t like this and handed the watch back. I left and while I was walking away a lady approached me who was waking past and heard our arguement. She said she had several things ruined by him and begged me to take it further. I will be as this man shouldn’t be in business.

I'm still not quite sure what this man's problem was. I gave him 1 belt of my husbands to trim down along with his original belt to get the right sizing I told him to put that to the side and gave him multiple belts to cut down for my son, again with a belt he's currently using to help guide with sizing. He cut all belts down to my husbands size, which was fine, easily fixed, and I went back to ask him politely if he could just take a little extra off my sons belts, and I again gave him my sons belt for a guide. He then blamed me for not communicating effectively, got the off cuts for the belts and threw them at me to prove he did the work. I wasn't denying he did the work, he just didn't listen to me when I explained the work I needed done the first time. It was an easy mistake to make, and at no point did I become hostile with him, he got extremely defensive and shouted at me and my husband. We clearly stated what we needed done and he pointed at us both accusingly, laughed in our faces and told US we had made a mistake and we were trying to blame it on him, he said many times over 'I've been doing this for 15 years, so I know what I'm doing... do you?' . I then said 'Don't worry about it, we'll go to Mr Minit' My husband said 'no, we've paid him to do the job, he needs to do it properly'. He kept laughing at me and shaking his head muttering about me not admitting to my mistakes over and over again. At this point I had to walk away as I was really angry, I let my husband deal with picking the finished belts up. When we got home we discovered he'd broken two of the belts, put the clasps on three others backwards and not cut down one belt at all. He'd taken the clasps off the guide belts for reasons that confound me. To this day it remains the weirdest and most frustrating customer service experience of my life. Stay away, go to Mr Minit, they're awesome.

Rudest, most unprofessional individual I have come across. Came in to have some items engraved and showed him an example of the style we were after. His response was "every human is different, go back to where you got these done, every human is different" and literally walked away in a strop before we could respond.

Please stay away from this shop and go to an enterprise that actually values clients.

I got a car key battery replaced here, i thought the service was great.
It wasnt until I'd left that i realised he'd actually snapped the clip in my key and broken it so that it falls apart all the time. I returned to the shop at a later date after purchasing a new fob and thought I'd ask if he could cut the key and we could try and fix it. Before i could even get all my question out he started getting defensive and abusive and telling me not his problem. Wouldn't actually listen to my request as I wasn't even complaining about it being broken (I know how easily these things happen and they are unfortunate).
I will never go here for any services again or recommend him to anyone. There are other stores in the vacinity that offer the same services with better customer service and knowledge.
