Lightfoot Engineering

I had Lightfoot Engineering build a pair of Moto Guzzi hubs with new Brorrani rims. He drilled the valve stem holes off centre in two brand new Borrani rims. Yeah, that's right drilled both valve holes way off centre! Laced up the rear hub with 12mm too much offset. Used the incorrect far too large of a diameter rear spoke and then they all had side tension by bending over each other to align into rim nipple hole,.very dangerous indeed. The bloke is an absolute incompetent wheel builder, so beware. I should have known better when I delivered my hubs to him as he didn't know that there is a left & right side to the front hub. One wonders how many Guzzi front hubs he has built incorrectly?

Whether a custom job, a vintage restoration or something outside the box, Phil at lightfoot engineering is the best guy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable, with what feels like a thousand years experience, fairly priced, and a ripper bloke to have a chat to. I would recommend him very highly.
