Bentley the Butler Dry Cleaning

Have brought my skirts for alterations & pincho's to be dry-cleaned & could not be more impressed. Yes, things can go wrong sometimes & yes, some clothing may be pricey, but going by my own experience, I am yet to be dissatisfied.

I took in my white collared jacket for cleaning to only have it returned still with the makeup (foundation) marks around the neck. After speaking to the cleaner telling him I am not happy, he said its too hard to come out.

I took it home and used Sard Spray on the collar which removed the marks perfectly fine. Don't waste $16 on having to do the cleaning yourself.

I chose this dry cleaner for my wedding dress because of the good reviews online. Although the actual dry cleaning was relatively good, the customer service was terrible. It took 6 weeks to clean my dress (I was initially told it would take 2 weeks) and I was told that I would get a phone call when it was ready to be picked up. After not hearing anything for 3 weeks, I went into the store and was told that it would be ready the following week and that they would call me. Again, I didn't hear anything from them, so I went in again a week later, only to be told that it would be ready in 2 days. Again, I did not hear from them. A week later I called the store and was told that the gown was waiting for me to inspect before they put it in a box. When I eventually got the gown, the wedding box was of terrible quality. I realised once I got it home that the box already had a rip in it. I phoned the store to inform them that I was not happy with the product and would like a refund ($50 for the box), only to be told (by the man who is supposedly the boss) that the reason the box ripped was because I was standing too close to it when he opened it to show me inside! The man also then told me that the dress had been waiting for me to look at it for 2 weeks and that he can't control if his staff keep telling customers that they will get a call when their garments are ready, as they never call customers to inform them. I didn't mind so much about the waiting time until the accusatory and incorrect comments were made to me at the time of putting in a complaint about the box. I was offered a new box or $10 refund to keep the old box and despite not being happy that the box would not rip easily again in future, I was refused a full refund. I will be looking elsewhere for my dry cleaning services in future.
