Daniel responded to my enquiry quickly and kept in touch re. quote and timetable. Inspected the job and gave informed advice. The quote was extremely reasonable considering the difficulties involved. Kept in touch via email regularly.

Poor quality work and an untrustworthy individual! Be Aware of this guy!

In summary - He did one small bedroom in my home, did a crappy job, pushed me towards a finish that I didnt want, said hed come and fix, but blocked my number and didnt turn up to fix. I ended up re-doing it myself and got a better result.

- I wanted a semi-gloss finish, but he convinced me to go for a matt finish. He said if I didnt like the result, it was a simple sand back and re-apply a semi-gloss or gloss finish over the top which he would do free of charge.
- Once the finish dried it felt rough. There was grain raise in several areas, hairs and bits of dirt in the finish. Besides this I didnt like the matt finish.
- I contacted Daniel and said that I didnt like the matt and would like it to be semi-gloss or gloss. After 4 days he got back to me and told me that he would have to order the other finish in. After another 4-5 days he got back to me and said that he was picking up the finish that night and could fix the job on Monday. I agreed.
- Well Monday came and no-show from Daniel. I contacted him and I got no reply. I tried contacting numerous times over this next week and still no reply. I thought it was strange that every time I called him it went straight to voicemail. I tried calling from my wifes phone and I hid my number on my phone. When I did this his phone rang out, so he obviously blocked my number. Seriously, what kind of tradie blocks a customers phone number? Its cowardly! I never heard from him again..
- I ended up sanding back the finish myself and applied a coat of semi-gloss water based poly. It now is perfectly smooth and looks the way I paid for it to be. Daniel told me he has been doing this for 14 years, yet on my first attempt I achieved a better result!
