Got to love it when people base their reviews on incorrect/incomplete information.
Wonderful business and staff

A great place for family and friends to catch up and have fun. Gives people a place to go in gippsland which there are not many places to go. The movies, ten pin bowling. That is about it. So i think Wyncity staff will renovate the facility into something great for the community. Bring back the scoop chocolate machine.

My family has been going here for 16 years for a fun night out. It is a place where good memories are made. It is an icon of the valley.

This is a long post but please read and share ;)
There is a disability bowling league that has been run at the Morwell bowling alley (now Wyncity) for nearly 30 years run by the same group of parents that started it all those years ago The Happy Achievers Bowling League. Every Saturday at 2pm. If ever you want to meet or see a group of joyous, happy people, then that is the place to be! There are 40 or so bowlers in 14 teams that bowl week after week and most love bowling as it is the one of the only things they look forward to every week. Many family members come along and are involved. It makes me smile every time I hear Louise, watch me bowl or giving numerous high 5s to various players on any team or seeing my son do well and get excited about it (he has autism). It is team spirit at its best! Im sharing about this as things are about to change. Morwell tenpins has new owners who are about to put a spanner in the works! We were informed today (25/6/16) that next week will be our last week of Happy achievers at the 2pm timeslot. We are now to move to a 9.30am time or fold. One weeks notice! It looks like the league will fold as this time is not suitable for many or any involved. No negotiation, no other options given. The explanation given is that childrens birthday parties are to take priority over our league and she wants it to be a family oriented venue. Apparently, our families dont matter! A lot of our bowlers have a carer that brings them along, they cannot automatically change their times and for many of us, it takes a long time to change a routine (especially with those bowlers who have been involved for nearly 30 years!). We are only there for one hour, surely a party could be booked before or after without any loss to them. Our constitution stands till December and fees have been paid for the whole year but this makes no difference either. This is the only league of its kind in this area, we have no other choice to move venue as this is
