Booked a spring wedding for 2020, and Orso has turned what was supposed to be a happy experience into a continuing nightmare. Extremely disappointed in the management's conduct during covid-19. I tried to postpone payments at the start of the pandemic, but was felt pressured into continuing with the threat of losing my substantial deposit which I could not afford to lose. I tried to postpone to 2021 or 2022 in Spring, but was told the price would increase significantly in both instances, which I am unable to afford. They then offered me dates in Winter next year for no additional fee, which they are currently offering at $10/person less than we have been charged. They also offered me a venue change, to others that they own which are in no way comparable to the experience we expected at Orso, and are currently offered at up to $50/person less than what we have paid. Orso says that they can still provide me a DJ and dance floor which was part of our package and still provide the service we have paid for so are refusing to refund our money. Due to the covid-19 restrictions, you are not allowed to dance/sing or mingle with your guests, so they are also expecting us to pay for something we can't even use. Management has also stopped returning my calls which I have found to be very unprofessional.
They are also aware that I have recently lost my job due to covid-19.
There are many other venues that are offering full refunds if you need to postpone your plans due to covid, I would strongly suggest booking with one of them to avoid the trauma of dealing with this company in these uncertain times.
