BEWARE - Totally unethical and rip off merchants.



We are locals who placed total trust and wanted to support a local business.

This was a serious costly mistake and hence this review to forewarn others in the area about this unethical, rip off merchants.....shame on you guys for betraying the trust placed on the so called professionalism of your garage.



We commenced servicing our Audi TT Turbo after the recommendation of the previous owner and knowing the garage had the vehicles service history. The vehicle was serviced and all pre registration inspections were carried out at the garage too.



Fast forward to this month November 2019..we had planned to sell the vehicle. The new buyer wanted a pre sale inspection and contacted the garage. The garage had confirmed that the sale price was at par with the condition of our vehicle and that the vehicle was in a very good condition.



Shock, anger, feeling cheated..... the garage had informed the new buyer the following defects on our vehicle:



1. the vehicle required new tyres ($1000 per unit)

2. that the timing belt needed replacement ( the vehicle was 10 years old but with less then 60,000 kms ) and we had never informed about the need to replace it urgently.

3. The garage informed the new buyer that the cost of the repairs was around $5000 and that he should get us to reduce the sale price.



We ended up selling the vehicle less then what he had negotiated due to the rip off merchants in the garage.



* An ethical garage would have informed us about the required maintenance due during each service we had taken the vehicle there.



* An ethical garage would have told the new buyer that the timing belt was not an urgent replacement issue.



* An ethical garage would not back track and tell us that we could replace the tyres and the timing belt next year if we were not going to sell the vehicle.....this was so they could keep our business and screw us again.



Shame on you guys and we will continue to pass the word to all our local friends about your unethical practises.

I took my car there for a pink slip....to my surprise it cost me over 2k, my vehicle is well maintained and i own many other vehicles that have never cost so much anywhere else for a simple service.
Things i asked not to be done were charged to me and i later saw they weren't actually done.
I was up sold on way to many items, labour was blown way out.
I can't believe the prices i paid for parts on my invoice. Ridiculously expensive mechanic and i know from my knowledge with working on cars myself and maintaining a fleet of vehicles for so long through other mechanics i was taken for a ride at top tune. I would never recommend them.
