Octopus's Garden The

We came during 29 December 2025, and this shop is no longer here. I thought I would drop a comment on this page to help others.

This is what a top-notch fish store, no bones about it.

Simple clean, fresh, and offering a fantastic range of well-priced fish.

I live in town, and have business in Mt Barker every couple of months. My family knows we'll have fish on those days - I make a point of visiting, because it's just great.

Knocked up some awesome Yellow Fin Tuna last night. Thanks to Octopus Garden (but if you look at their logo it is actually Sextopus Garden).
I wonder what Blue Fin tastes like and if there is an actual difference. Would love to partner with an Adelaide Hills Sav Blanc provider and a fishmonger to have a "taste-off". For a fee, I am sure others would love to compare... Any takers???
