Desert Cave Hotel

Never again, apparently there is only one water heater for an entire block of rooms we were told so after I got burnt in the shower when it went from ice cold to burning hot we called to complain, the response I got was to run the hot water for 5 minutes becuase the hot water tank is fickle! I didn't pay $150 a night to be burnt but what really made me made me angry was their attitude of its not there problem.

Lesson learned. Once bitten twice,
I found this place called "Desert Cove" on Booking.com.
Booking.com had a fantastic price $135 there about, yep great value! So I went to book it, however my computer was so slow so instead I rang them to book a room ahead of husband and three children to stay the night, after driving from Victoria.
In short I booked the room with the guy and gave him my credit card details to hold the room. Once my family had left and was in Alice spring when I found out that Desert Cave charged my card $185.00.
I rang Desert Cave back and you know what he said..."you should have booked it through Booking.com", not my problem.

I will tell of my experience to more than 10 people...not worth over charging your customers mate even if you don't ever see them again.
