Southern Star

Placed ad for 13 weeks in 3 x newspapers in trade section - No response what's so ever! Not even one phone call. We found out from friends after several weeks of our ad being placed that there were suburbs not receiving the weekly drop off paper. We called the Southern star office advising them of this fact and they were not interested to follow up or provide any assistance or compensation to help us with this ongoing problem. Households not receiving the paper has a big effect on sales. There interest was mainly in resigning us up for a further 13 weeks with very expensive advertising costs. Once our contract had reached its advert end last time, we were continually getting calls EVERY day by there staff to sign us up again. Surely this is blatant robbery taking money for a product that does not get delivered to households in many suburbs!!!! Poor service and help from management. This time round we will spend our hard earned money with other advertising avenues.

I called to explain who ever delivers the southern star newspaper in acacia ridge is throwing them onto medium strip & on the road,when asked if they were going to do anything about it, they just wanted to know if I wanted it cancelled.. Not good!! So mine will stay where it is on the road or foot path. I think the bin would be better..I had to rate 1 star otherwise I wouldn't be able to post this review. I didn't want to give them any stars.
