Aoki Hair

DO NOT COME HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner of this salon LACKS PROFESSIONALISM. It's supposed to be a "safe space" but it's anything but that. The owner even makes you feel responsible for her emotions. Just have a look at the way she's responded to her lower star reviews. If you really knew who Jenni was, you'd be appalled as to how she's still in business and how people still support her. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Owner edits pictures of their clients face & hair. When confronted by a client, owner harassed and shared personal images off the clients own instagram, onto her business page. Making fun of them for being transgender. The owner continues to delete the multitude of negative which were a result of her appalling behaviour.

Impossible to contact. I tried email, Instagram and phone over four days. They simply don't respond. And when I finally got an email reply back, they told me I was "extremely rude" for criticizing how how they run their business.



Rude is treating customers like a nice to have, being unresponsive, unavailable and then berating people when they're exasperated just trying to get the information they need to make an appointment. I can only imagine what the in-person experience is.



And if you'd like a taste of that treatment, just look how aggressive the owner is respond to and abusing people who dare post anything other than positive reviews on Google. PASS.

Love the newly opened Aoki Hair, a lovely airy space and trendy look. I have been to Aoki for many years now and am always happy with the great service Jenni and her team provide. The suggestions for new colours and cuts are much appreciated!

What a fantastic trendy new salon. Jenny and her team always make me feel so welcome. Have been with aoki hair since they started 14 years ago and have always had the best sevice, coffee, colour, foils and cut ever. Just love everything about aoki. Best salon ever!!!!!!

Jenni and her team are still as fun and professional as ever..I have Ombre in my hair and had not had it touched up in over 8 months. The colour blends in so well and I looovvve the new salon in Mt Pleasant..it is trendy and fresh and the I Pads add such a special touch...always a Brilliant Experience....
