I've been coming here for over a year now and the guys really look after you to make sure you get the best possible setup.

I needed help finding a fish for my daughter. We were seen to right away and the owner gave us some great advise and instructions on how to care for our new fish. My 10 year old daughter was able to follow these instructions. I thought it was really sweet, we were very happy with our experience at Hi-Fin. Highly recommended.

I have been to this shop twice now, the first time super happy with the experience were lovely and helpful. When i went the second time I was really, really disappointed. Previously they sold me these fish that were worth $100 total, I asked if they would be fine with my other fish in the tank, they said yes. I had to take them back the next week, one of them had beaten up my oscar. pretty badly. I told them over facebook, if i could bring in all my fish for store credit and just re do my tank, they said yes. At the shop they only give store credit of 50% of what the fish is actually worth - which is a giant rip off and decided my other fish weren't really worth anything when i paid $150 total for them. In the end we got 5 little fish worth about $70 total. I feel really gutted, they ripped me off and gave incorrect advise. I will not be returning to the store, i will not recommend this store to anyone. They are money hungry and are not concerned with customer satisfaction. Really, really disappointed.
