Poor customer service

I took my car key remote to this locksmith out of convenience and knowing it had been there a long time they must do good business and reliable service....this has not been my experience.

The remote was not activating every press, I had replaced the battery with no resolve, I took it to this locksmith and older man said he could fix it to pick up the following week (tues) returned Tuesday another worker had no idea, called the man who was organising repair and said it would be a other week he would call when fixed- another week went by no call. Eventually go the remote 3 weeks later continued to have the same issue returned it to the locksmith who attempted to make me feel like I was dishonest that it was working from the machine he had to test it trying to send me away, I told him to try a few times to which he saw the issue. Another 2 weeks past as he needed to get parts and no call to update me on the progress I got the remote back, still same thing happening...he refused the $80 refund. I am so disappointed, I will never go there again, unfortunately he not only can not provide the service he states is his business but he's customer service leaves alot to be desired also.

TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

I have bought numerous batteries and remotes from this guy and nearly every time they have not worked. He refuses to give refunds or exchanges even with a receipt. His prices are so inflated. He charged me $70 which was apparently discounted from $85 for a remote that I found on the internet prices at $20. He charged me $10 for a battery that I found at a chemist priced at $3. I have purchased 6 remotes from him over a period of 3 years showing how fault his products are. Lesson learnt don’t keep going back to him due to convenience it rather go somewhere that is a legitimate business and their aim is not to rip you off!! Stay well away unless you wanna be ripped off!

I brought a bag from Harry Hartog and asked the to engrave my partners name on it. We're engaged, it's his 30th and it's our last birthday together unmarried. My partner is that guy who never, never asks for a thing so I wanted to get him something nice. We don't have a lot of money to waste. I'm a teacher, we're building a house and getting married this year. So this was a splurge for me, he deserved it. I actually wanted to get him something better and was sad I couldn't.
The lovely ladies at Harry Hartog asked the engraver for me to make sure he could do it and set it up so all I had to do was take the bag there. It seemed easy.
But today, when my Mother picked up the bag it was unfinished and scratched. The bag is pure leather and they taped a note to it that left a mark on the leather.
When my mum asked them what had happened they said it wasn't their fault, even though the people who worked there saw me walk from Harry Hartog to the store straight away.
And the owner? Well he told me it wasn't his problem and that I couldn't prove it wasn't scratched by the people at Harry Hartog. On Friday, after being told I would have to contact the Dept of Fair Trading he simply hung up.
So, I think it's a terrible reflection on the centre that this man represents them. I can't believe a man who owns his own business is so delusional that he thinks that kind of business with make him money.
Avoid that place like the plague. I couldn't even leave a bag with the man.
