Immediate Response Electrical

BEWARE!!! DODGY UNTRUSTWORTHY TRADIES!!! Called on a Sunday because our electricity went out in the kitchen and was quote $300p/h including GST.

Problem was given a 'temporary' fix via a replaced a wire, and was told that the electrician would return on Monday to completely fix the 'problem'. The electrician returned on Monday and we were told that it would cost $3000 for the job to 'completely' fix our problem. When we declined because we wanted a second opinion. The electrician lied to us and tried to pressure us into taking an extremely overpriced quote by telling us it was illegal to leave our electric system in such a state. Took away the 'temporary' fix out of spite because we wouldn't accept their exorbitant dodgy prices leaving us without electricity in our kitchen. Was charged $450 for what the electrician had done so for. Which was essentially nothing.

Called another electrician, who told us all that was needed was a replacement wire. Quoted $100 for the job.

Absolutely disgusting dodgy behaviour by these guys, don't be surprised if you see them on Today Tonight or A Current Affair because of their dodgy tactics.

Get a second Quote Don't trust them

DO NOT USE. My elderly mother contacted this company to quote to repair a faulty electrical circuit. The quoted her over $3,800 dollars and she accepted as she was very stressed as she did not want to circuit breakers to trip again as she uses a ventilator machine for her breathing 4 times a day which needs AC power. I visited her house a few days later with an electrician friend of mine and we worked out the repairs should have costed no more than $1,000. I wish I was able to have gone there on that day to have stopped this complete rip off. I have reported them to fair trading and home and community care.

Avoid at all costs. Will rip you off. Expensive call out and diagnostic fee. Overcharge you for work. Cowboys.

Similar experience to others here...a compete rip off. In the end I asked them to leave and got another electrician in who fixed the problem for $150. These cowboys then charged over $900 to my credit card for what was essentially nothing.

These guys are a rip off! I had four light transformers changed and it cost me $385. Do not use them. The quote was $75 for service call then they added $55 for diagnostics, then $220 for transformers then GST. Never again.

Most expensive and unethical tradies I have experienced. While I was away my wife called them out in response to an outage. They located the problem then strongly advised her she should get them to install 3 new safety switches at $380 each into an almost new fuse box. Total cost $1400 for 2 hours work and about $150 parts. I have since had this quoted by my normal electrician as a $350 job. I complained to management who smugly replied that "your wife agreed to the work". Avoid this mob unless you know exactly what you need and what to pay. They will take advantage.
