Paint A Pot

Jess Kaim 1 starWe did not have a very pleasurable experience here at all. I came because of the competition and thought for $8 per child it was affordable. We came a few times a couple pf years ago and even had our daughters party there but stopped coming because everything is so over priced and the owners attitude towards children and others is appalling. When a friend asked me to Go i thought we would give it a go as its been about 2 years since we had our daughters birthday party there. My kids walk in super excited get their birds, walk over to the table where they stood waiting patiently not grabbing brushes or anything when the owner spoke to them so sharply i was gob smacked. She said "no STOP!! look at me and listen go get your apron and put it on before you do anything" that said in a nice tone would not have been all that bad but the way it was said was so nasty. Then once the kids finished painting they went over to play and were making some noise as you would expect from kids running around a play ground playing and the owner stood there huffing and giving dirty looks. Then one of my friends sons got hurt by his brother and was crying to which the owner said to him "stop being such a little girl carrying on like that if you dont stop you will get out"
I really was shocked. Someone who clearly does not like children running a business in which is largely FOR CHILDREN. She was rude when we were leaving and barely batted an eye lid when my children thanked her for spraying glitter on their work. We left because we were made to feel so uncomfortable. The kids even commented in the car about why the lady was so cranky. We wont be back. I can see from other reviews that others have also been treated poorly.
