What type of occasions do you do cater for with your make-up services?
Bridal parties, hen's nights, pamper packages, balls and event hair and make-up. Vintage or modern, we will get you styled to perfection for that special occasion. Using premium Youngblood mineral make-up designed to last all day (or night) long and ideal for photography, our make-up artists can make you over and make you look and feel a million dollars.
What type of men's treatments do you have available?
The men's treatment is a conditioning and colour treatment to promote growth, shine and hydration, accompanied by a relaxing head massage. The treatments costs $15.

We are located at 18 Wray avenue in Fremantle, WA.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Wednesday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm, Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 8:30 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
What is your Yuko Japanese straightening system?
We offer a G-cream straight treatment which is a moisturising and smooth, natural-texture hair straightening.as well as a anti-frizz by Yuko which is a Japanese innovation, that will semi-permanently control frizz to make hair more manageable and healthy. This product contains a technologically advanced formula that features natural ingredients from silk, soy, wheat and palm oil. Products are formaldehyde free and have no harmful fumes.
What type of colouring do you provide?
We provide both a permanent and semi-permanent (ammonia free) colour range. Our boutique colour brand Lakme was developed and maintains the artistic tradition of its country of origin. The Lakme brand embodies beauty, hair health and innovation.
How much can I expect to pay for women's and men's advanced haircuts?
Women's advanced haircuts that include a haircut, shampoo and blow wave cost $80 & a re-style, long haircut & blow wave starts from $100. Men's style cut & wash is $40 and a clipper cut is $20.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is free street parking!

The 2 Jess’s did my daughter, 2 bridesmaids and my hair and makeup for my daughter’s recent wedding. They came to our hotel on time, worked well together and did an AMAZING job. My daughter and one bridesmaid have long hair and the other two have short hair.
We were all VERY happy with the results and had wonderful compliments on our hair and makeup during the day/night .
We are very pleased we chose these girls to help us on such a special and perfect day.

I should have read the reviews of this salon properly. I have had a similar experience to below today- a $130 half head of foils turned into $230 when I reached the counter. Disgusted by the fact that the hairdresser added on toner, 'something for the ends'?!, and a blowdry without mentioning the extra costs. I would have been prepared to pay these extras had I been asked if I wanted them and agreed to them but that wasn't the case.
My 'relaxing experience' also involved the hard sell on expensive products.
As said by previous customer the colour was not $230 good- what a joke. #reviewtowin

I had heard such good things about Doo Wop salon. Though it is now run by a new management, I decided to give it a try. I booked in for half head of foils (I have a bob) and a trim, and when I went to pay was told it would be 230 bucks. I just about died, as was under the impression it would be more in the ball park of 150 to 170, which I consider to by the higher end of average prices around Fremantle. The job was fair, but not 230 dollars fabulous. But more to the point the experience was not at all relaxing, as the staff who cut my hair gave me the "hard sell" about just about every product in the salon including my absolute need to purchase a 270 curling iron, though Id already patiently explained I owned various heating/curling implements, along with heat protection serum, salon quality shampoo and volumising spray, all of which were deemed "inferior" to this salons "magical products". I had really been looking forward to treating myself and left tired and regretful about the experience.

Just so disappointed I look ridiculous !! I go after I read all this review, and the result is just the opposite of what I asked I pay 260 dollars for a cut and blond lock . Now I have to go the an other hairdresser ! the staff don't listen to me or looked at picture I bring for my hair cut I was expecting a little bit more of consideration! DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY

I booked in with Siobhan after admiring one of her client's hair cuts. Siobhan is talented, on trend and very well priced. Delighted with my new hair - even after moving over 40kms away from the salon, I'll keep going back!

I have been a client at Doowop a number of times and after each visit I have been blown awayby the exceptional service andprofessionalismof the immensely talented staff.
Patrons giggle and sip coffee and retro tunes play over the sound system as the bubbly staff busily cut, blowdry and tease ladies' hair into stylish do's in this one of a kind 1950's themed salon.
Doowop also specialise in vintage indpired styles, and are the masters of cutting for us girls with curls! Highly recommend!

Freo's best kept secret! I love Doowop Hair!
Fantastic decor with a 50's vibe and great music too! The best thing about it though is the haircut you walk out with - I have NEVER received more compliments on my hair in my life! Very clever stylists who give you a cut that really suits the shape of your face. For me (hopeless with hair) also a cut that I can do and it still looks good - got to be happy with that!

So happy I stumbled upon this gorgeous salon on Wray Ave.
I love everything about it...
Fabulous decor - it's like you've stepped back into the 1950s!
Great hairdressers - I'm happy to let any of the girls there cut my hair, and I feel comfortable to let them experiment with it too.
And an added bonus - it doesn't cost the earth.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem to any of my friends.
