Park Avenue Floors is the company you want to do your floors. We have the experience & know how to get your timber floors right.
We are a family business and our staff at Park Avenue Floors have over 30 years of experience in floor sanding & polishing. So when it comes to getting it right the first time, Park Avenue Floors is the expertise you deserve. Sanding and Polishing of a floor is a big thing, so you don’t want delays or postponements to make it a stressful time. We do deal with dusty options.
We can make your floors come alive and be the beautiful feature you deserve in your home. Another feature we offer is Waterborne Finishes. When you choose non-toxic waterborne finishes it is not necessary to move out of your home to avoid annoying fumes and these products have far less of an impact on the environment. Waterborne finishes provide excellent wear resistance, are non-yellowing and bring out the real beauty of timber flooring- without the usual odours associated with solvent-based polyurethanes.

What can be expected from Park Avenue Floors?
Continued.. •Some lighting, particularly down lights will produce a visible, fine, circular scratched effect on the floor – high gloss finishes tend to accentuate this. *There are new downlights available that reduce this. •Any silicone or silicone-based products such as hair spray, fly spray, or ironing aids, and some cleaning agents may cause rejection with any subsequent recoats
What cannot be expected from Park Avenue Floors?
•Do not expect a completely dust-free finish – there will always be some dust particles in the air which may settle on the wet coating and they will walk off quite quickly in traffic areas •Do not expect the removal of deep cuts such as those from carpet trimming knives or deep gauges inboards •Do not expect the removal of all stains – animal urine stains and deep watermarks are often impossible to remove. •That works will be finished to a professional standard •Floor finishes we use are guaranteed to be of a high standard •Nail holes, knot holes and gaps at the end of boards will require filling with an appropriate timber putty •Some variation in colour and grain between new and old boards •Timber floors will expand and contract according to the environment •Floor movement is quite normal •Slight markings on skirting boards from contact with edger machine. I spoke to Kaylene from Park Avenue Floors as I have had a few questions about maintaining my floor boards and some marks on my floor boards. Kaylene provided me with such sound advice and the best course of action to take. Kaylene has a wealth of experience and was more than happy to answer any query I had. Kaylene definitely has the knowledge and experience with floor boards. What's even better is that is a family business who share their knowledge and provide excellent service to customers.

Park Avenue Floors did an incredible job re-sanding and polishing our floors and completely transformed the look of our house. As first time home owners (and renovators!) we had no idea what to expect and nor did we anticipate having to re-do the floors of our house. But how lucky we are that we did! Because if not, we wouldn't have found Park Avenue Floors. Kaylene was so incredibly helpful from the outset, her customer service skills are impeccable. Steve's workmanship is one of a fine art and we couldn't be happier that we chose Park Avenue Floors. We would also like to highlight the after sales help we have received as there have been a couple of instances where we have needed parts of the floor fixed and Steve was back with no hesitation. We are really grateful for the help we have received and making our house look like a million bucks! Would have no hesitation recommending Park Avenue Floors to anyone who would like their floors re-done.

Park Avenue Floors did a fantastic job at our place and have truly brought out the best in our hardwood flooring. Trustworthy, hasslefree and reliable. I recommend Park Avenue to anybody who wants a great look, a great price and great service.
