Woodeson Excavations

I had a quote from Woodesons to remove soil. They promised to tell me if it was more than one load. They did not inform and then charged for two loads. In the process of questioning their 'proof' of this which was not conclusive, they told me to pay up or they would dump a load of dirt back on my property. They are not trustworthy and I felt betrayed and used.

They quoted a price for removal of spoils with contractual obligations to contact us if the amount went over the quote. Then they charged us double! Then when I queried it, they said ‘oops.. sorry... okay... it’s only 50% more. I’m not sure what to believe but I do know what I was quoted. I also know that they sent through ‘evidence’ of an invoice from where they tip, and it looks very doctored. They then threatened to dump soil on the land unless I paid. The matter is currently with Fair Trading who suggested I take it to court but the costs would be higher than a pay out. The Aussie-battler loses again. Sad to see a company with so little regard for common decency.
