I had my first experience of the famed Tasmanian scallop pie here in April 2014 and it was just wonderful. Fresh pastry and full of well-cooked scallops in a curry sauce. It was so delicious it barely touched the sides on the way down. I then asked for another one. Shock-horror! That was the last one. "Would you like a scallop and prawn one instead" the girl asked. "You bet I would". It was just as delicious as the original scallop pie.
