Queensland Timber Flooring

I recently had a Brush Box floor installed throughout my home. The installation of the floor was first grade and the installer was very professional and did an exceptional job. Unfortunately after that point the sanding and polishing has let the company down badly. The first time it was sanded and sealed there were machine marks all over the floor and the sealing was very patchy with roller marks, orange peeling and overall a very uneven finish. The second time the floor was done the same result was uneven polishing more machine marks marks, uneven application finishes plus many more faults. After complaining to the company a supervisor inspected the floor and said it was not a 100% job and needed to be done again. The home was a blank canvas when the floor was laid (no kitchen, cupboards or door tracks) so the job was straight forward. A third attempt to do the floor involved moving all the furniture out of the house, removing kitchen kick-board silicone, protecting expensive Caesarstone waterfall benches and masking door tracks etc. The floor needed sanding right back and starting from scratch again. The finish job this time is still not satisfactory as around almost every wall there is uneven colour and applicator marks. The company has not even bothered to contact me to see if I was happy with the job (which I am not) It has been extremely inconvenient having the floor redone as the home is now occupied and having to move furniture out of the house and also the family having to move out for a few days which involves expense on accommodation elsewhere. I would be hesitant to recommend this company if anybody was considering having a timber floor installed.

I recently had solid French Oak installed in my home in New Farm and could not be happier with the results. Queensland Timber Flooring was helpful through all stages of the process from choosing the type of floor to suit my home, to the installation process giving helpful tips and advice to maintain the quality of the floor. I could not recommend this company more with professional and caring staff they have done a great job and we have received many compliments on the floor already!

Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! If you want timber flooring - go anywhere else but here.
