Enthusiastic on the phone, tells you his background and how qualified he is, sends out a quote, but then gives you the run around when you try and clarify the quote, doesn't bother to call you back. Would be much better if he just advises he is not interested in doing the work.

After a number of weeks of negotiations Glenn arrived and took photos of the work to be done. He completed a quote that was very vague about the work to be completed. The worst was he quoted for the removal of a dead tree and there is none of my property. I responded with a 2-page email to the quote and asked for a clarification. Then I received an email saying “thank you for accepting my quote”, I immediately responded that I didn’t accept his quote and reiterated that I required a sketch because of lack of clarity and the quote for the dead tree that I did not have. He agreed to it and over weeks despite my phone and SMS follow-up he did not respond. Then he advised that the sketch would set me back by $200 to which I referred to the wrong tree i formation and vague description. Today i received an SMS conveniently copying a system message that his program send him that i allegedly accepted the quote, funnily enough at the same time i responded to the quote with a 2 page email. The system message was written in the third person singular talking about me as a third person and misspelling my name. Then he attacks me personally in the SMS and my qualifications at the bottom of my email defending the poor quote and that I allegedly accepted the quote as his system send him the email.

No apology for the mistake. This is definitely a business that I would not recommend to anyone, in particular for larger jobs (>$2000).
