Do NOT buy from this dealer!!!
I purchased my first brand new car from this dealership 6 months ago. From the get go I have had delay after delay not to mention the never ending issues with the vehicle itself!
From day 1 of owing my vehicle the usb unit fell inside the centre console- I was told to just either stick my hand up under the plastic to put it back in myself or just to book it in with the service department to have it fixed. There was a one month wait so I decided to leave it until my one month service check.
My next issue was the seat belt alarm screaming at me, and there was nothing I could do to stop it after a few attempts to restart the vehicle to try to make it stop. I couldn’t and had to continue with it chiming loudly at me whilst trying to get to work on time. It was so distracting and unsafe.
A few weeks later my engine light came on - I contacted the service department and they told me to drive the vehicle with the engine light on (not even knowing what the issue was) I refused and after no one getting back to me for hours decided to call roadside assist. Little did I know this was just the beginning of the worst experience.
Ever since then I have had engine light after engine light appear and then have my car taken away again and again to the dealership for them to make out they know what they are doing!
Their incompetent service department were unable to fix the issue after several attempts and even to the extent that the full engine wiring harness was replaced. Even though these decisions were made by Suzuki and their service department, they still could not give an explanation as to what was causing this. So, to this day, they or myself don’t know why the car has issues, but still they swap and change parts and refuse to take responsibility for this piece of junk they sold to me. I have had issues with the touch screen glitching out, calling people, changing songs, blacking out completely in which I have given two attempts to fix and they have been unable to even rectify the issue, and keep replacing it with the exact same thing. Yet both the dealership and Suzuki Australia refuse to give me a replacement vehicle or a FULL refund.
Hayley their service manger is incredibly rude and incompetent. Their after sales service is just appalling. I have been accused of mistreating my vehicle, ignored when trying to get in contact as they know very well my car is a lemon and don’t want it to be their problem anymore. I have left messages, sent texts and emails and it has either taken me to contact them several times to get a response or I haven’t received one at all.
I would not recommend anyone to purchase a new vehicle through this dealership ever, unless you want to be stuck with an absolute lemon and be treated with absolute disrespect and disregard.
I feel totally unsafe driving this vehicle as I wait for it to break down or glitch out.
Don’t waste your money on a Suzuki and definitely do not buy a vehicle from south side Suzuki Christie’s Beach!!

I have multiple dealings with CMI Toyota/Southside Suzuki since I purchased my brand new car from them last year. The good service certainly stopped once I had signed my paperwork. I have been nothing but completely DISGUSTED with the service from every single person in this business. I am constantly given conflicting information from different people and then have had to stand there and literally feel like a complete idiot while they accuse me of having my information wrong. Do not take your car here, you will only regret it. I wish I could give them a negative star rating because 1 star is being over the top generous. Do not trust them with your car. Even Suzuki in the City have told me that Southside are useless and their customer service is poor. Spread the word that Southside Suzuki/CMI Toyota do not care if their customers are CMI-ling, they care about your cash and that is it. ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL.
