H&R Block

What a joke! I paid double what I paid the previous year without any kind of communication at the time that there was this much higher cost. At the 30 minute “meeting” the so called “accountant” told me “I’ve run out of time” and “get the managed funds holders to provide all the information”, which I did, in an easy-to-read spreadsheet, rather than the usual ETF statements. For me doing all the work I was then charged a LOT of money by H&R Block Noosa Junction for what I would say was literally data entry. Could not have been more than 20 minutes work, if that. I received very poor communication, a very weak (almost meaningless) email apology for the lack of communication and poor customer service. After I filled in the H&R Block “how did we do” survey, I was then contacted by phone where the girl then talked with absolutely no substance, which just lead to irritate me. As much as I want to name names, I’ll refrain from doing so.

I’ve used H&R Block for 20 out of my 21 returns, but I will shop around next time, as it would be much cheaper to pay an accountant by the hour. Noosa Junction, what an amateur, and disgraceful branch you are.
