Future Auto Service Centre North Lakes - Rothwell - Kallangur

Going to a mechanic has always been something I have put off. I have always been uncertain about the work performed as you hear all these stories on the news and no one has ever taken the time to explain the work to me.
I was referred to Future Auto at North Lakes from a friend whom highly recommended them and I am so glad that she did! I was nervous on my first visit as I was just expecting the usual but I was proved wrong.
Firstly, I was greeted by the friendly staff who took my details, gave me a price on the service and discussed the concerns I had with the car. They told me that they would call me throughout the day with regular updates and that no work would be done until authorised by me. heard that before right? They then offered me a lift home as I told them I was walking. Not long after getting home I received a call from the manager. They had done an inspection on my car and (as it was very overdue) there were a couple of items of concern. They went over the list and explained it in a way I could understand. They gave me prices for the work and didn't pressure me to get any of it done. They even helped me budget for the future by prioritising the work and gave me rough guidelines as to when it would need to be done so that my car would remain safe and reliable. I gave them the go ahead on one item (tyres) as it was all I could afford at the time. They gave me a final price and advised they would call when complete.
When complete, they arranged to pick me up. When I got to the store they showed me a couple of the items discussed on the phone so I could visually see what they were talking about. I have never experienced that before. They took the time to explain the items to me again in a way that I could understand. When I went to pay, the final amount was actually less!!!
I would recommend Future to anyone. I finally have found a mechanic that I can trust and will be returning again. My confidence is back! Thank you Future!

This review is very much overdue. All too often people take the time to express bad reviews but sadly, and I'm guilty of this, we forget to tell all about the good stuff. Anyway........
About a month ago I took a very tired old car to Peter without a booking as I was 3 hours from home when the issue began. The loud noise I had experienced wouldn't repeat itself when the mechanics took it for a test drive. How often does this happen ! Peter persevered, without bumping any prior bookings, he worked later than closing time and was eventually able to locate & fix the issue. It was a Friday night and he was actually taking off to meet his family on a rare holiday. He did all this with a smile and explained everything he had done to me in clear terms. Prior to moving north I always booked my car into either Future Auto North Lakes or Everton Hills ( both operated and owned by Peter) and have always found them to be professional, thorough and reasonably priced. In fact I trust them so much I'll continue to have my car serviced there, I'll use their courtesy car and go shopping while I wait.
A mechanic you can trust is a very rare thing in this day and age so thank you Peter & staff.

i just had repairs and a service carried out on my vehicle and could not praise the boys enough on their workmanship and helpfulness, cannot recommend them highly enough. thanks to john and sam on there great work.
