The Australian Philips website states the oven bulb is rated at up to 300 celcius, yet the major Australian hardware stores that stock them rate them on the pack at 250 celcius and the reviews on those hardware websites also find they blow after only a few months.

They are basically not as advertised on the website (300 celcius versus reality of 250 celcius).

I phoned Philips Australia and first they told me I was looking at the American website. No, it is clearly the Australian .com.au website.

They then tried to fob me off to the parent company in Holland!

The bulbs do not last - and as Australia is getting only 250 celcius rated ones, why are we getting the inferior product to the 300 celcius ones available overseas.
