Hello lovely people of Melbourne,

I was wondering if you could help me? I was out with my husband and friends in Fitzroy, Melbourne on Saturday night and, when walking home I lost my engagement ring, it slipped off my finger and on to the floor. We had walked from Brunswick Street up Greeves Street and turned left onto Young street. We believe it fell on Young Street, next to the lanes there. We desperately searched but it was pitch black and the street is not well lit. Yesterday, as soon as it was light, I searched all the streets in the area for hours and I couldn't see it anywhere. I have spoken to local residents and reported it missing to the police on Young Street so this is my last hope.... We have only been married a year and like all brides my engagement ring was perhaps my most treasured possession. I wondered if there is any chance someone has seen it, picked it up or knows anything about its whereabouts? Its a vintage style ring with a single diamond stone and diamonds on the shoulders.

I am absolutely devastated to have lost it. There is a reward for its return. Please help! [email protected]
