We had a positive experience for two terms in boppy bugs but had a change of teacher and it’s been terrible since. They have a rigid no parents policy so to not disrupt the class. Was advised it was fine for the kids with separation anxiety to be traumatized and if they cry for more than 5 mins it’s fine then for parents to come in. Then management organises a full day of filming with a film crew. Assuming it is now fine to disrupt the class because it’s for marketing. Completely inconsistent in how they implement policy and mixed messaging to parents.
We were offered a full refund by management initially because we did not agree with their policy but then the receptionist won’t give it when we requested for it and then hung up on us. We will not be returning and have found other programs which are more flexible and family friendly

My daughter is now in her 5th year at Theatre Bugs. She started when she was two and loves it! I love the fact that there are no competitions and that the children have fun in an inclusive environment. All children have the opportunity to participate throughout the year. My daughter used to be rather shy, but through her experiences at Theatre Bugs, she now confidently speaks and performs at school assemblies. The school holiday programs are also wonderful and a great way to entertain children during the holidays. I highly recommend Theatre Bugs.

My two children have attended Theatre Bugs classes and holiday programs for years and they love it! I have watched their confidence blossom. All children have the opportunity to deliver lines, sing, dance and create props at Theatre Bugs. It's a really inclusive environment. It makes me happy that they are safe, engaged and learning new skills. Highly recommended!

Thought for small children the lessons were poorly directed. Music was limited to a few tracks which were not appealing to young children & were repeated each lesson for more than a term...we did 2 terms as friends going.. The songs had only one action per song- so no developmental value. (No up/down, kick, roll, sway, clap directions...nothing!!) The program didn't seem to be appropriate for children under 3. Many kids often just wandered around as teacher not giving them suitable things(actions) to follow. We have done much better classes at the Trampolining place on the Parade & at Kindermusic classes. Even Unley Rhyme time at the library was better & that was free!!

Unfortunately after a year at Theatre Bugs, this businesses lack of empathy at my daughters situation, let alone their companyethics, have left us as a family very upset. We certainly would not recommend or every use their services again.
