Awful.
I have had 4 conversations in regards to this issues with the sofa (costed $3,000). Firstly, the customer service staff indicated that the trays will arrive in three weeks, one week after the call, and then it was 3 more weeks, and then 4 weeks. They lied to me consistently. Secondly, I have had issue with the couch and contacted their customer service staff. I mentioned that the couch was wobbly and indicated that there is a manufacturing defect. This was ignored. Thirdly, on all my calls, no customer contact was recorded onto their customer relationship management system (CRM). The story had to be retold on each occasion.
Then, the warranty inspection can only be conducted during 9-4, which is the standard office hours. I am not sure why one would assume that workers can take a day off for their sofa to be inspected.
The warranty inspection did solidify my thoughts in regards to the design of the sofa. Firstly, the sofa was designed to "wobble" (as Ryan noted). You are supposed to sit like a robot which unfortunately, being a living human; this isn't quite possible. Secondly, the "pressure" point and the body weight is transferred to the lower back when the sofa is at the reclined position. Although this does feel comfortable initially, but the gap between the seat and the back is too wide. As a result, there is no support going into my lower back. Consequently, I am getting back pain daily... from sitting on the couch! Thirdly, the couch is only 5 weeks new. But the foam on the sit has already "sunk in". The warranty guy noted that this is normal after a few weeks. However, given the cost of the sofa, the short period of use, I would argue that the foam is of poor quality and does not live up to its price tag/ standard. The fact the the sit foam has "sunk in" further adds to the gap between the sit and the back support, of which augment to my back injury.
If you plan to spend a decent amount of money on a couch, look elsewhere.
