Worst car buying experience I have ever had.

Once I signed the contract they were difficult to reach but still responsive. The real issue came when I paid cash for a brand new car and it was delivered defective. It was 38 outside and the window wouldn't roll up. The sad part? We have a carport and severe rain was on the evening forcast. I called hte dealership and they tried to pass the buck and act like they had no clue what I was talking about, but the reason they didn't was because they didn't thoroughly check the car.



Then when I asked if they had checked the car, in true car salesman fashion I was told it was there for 3 weeks with no problem, but they certainly wouldn't answer my question directly.



The sad part is had they been nice about it, or apologetic it would have been easier to digest. They weren't nice about it, as a matter of fact he was down right nasty about it. He threatened to hang up on me when I asked why he didn't seem to care. I asked why he hadn't been apologetic and he said verbatim "what does saying sorry do to fix your car"... But he wasn't trying to fix my car. He wasn't nice to me, he acted like calling him when I had only had my car for 15 minutes and there was something wrong was an inconvenience.



We worked really hard to save enough to pay for a car in cash. Little did I know since that pretty much completes a contract you will actually get worse service.



I have purchased a few vehicles in my lifetime, I have never had this poor of an experience. I would not only NOT recommend this dealership, I think they should receive some serious training and perhaps have to own up to the other poor reviews I see here.

Terrible dealership

I am not usually one to complain but I want to ensure other people don’t have the same issues as I did. I was sold a dodgy car and little was done to compensate for their mistake that put my life at risk. I highly recommend going elsewhere, as I don’t want anyone to go through the drama I did. They also gave me a really poor first car service despite the stuff up they put me through.

Avoid at all costs

Oh my god. Nunawading Hyundai are absolutely THE WORST car dealership I have ever dealt with. It's just a shame that I can't give them 0/5 stars.



Purchased an i30 SR at the beginning of Dec 2017, and the salesperson Chris Wilsone did not put a delivery date on the contract. This was my mistake, I should have insisted on a date on the contract.



Once the contract was signed, it became almost impossible to get in touch with him - emails and phone calls would take days or even a week for a response. He didn't give me a delivery date until two weeks after the contract was signed, and even that was begrudgingly after multiple requests from myself.



Over a month later, the car has finally been delivered to the dealership. Unfortunately they failed to organise the invoice for my novated lease company despite two written requests in the month I was waiting. This means up to another week till I can actually pick up the car.



Shocking service, they do not care about their customers at all once the contract is signed. Not only that, but they are incredibly rude when you try and follow up on the status of their work. And forget trying to get an apology from them - they act as if selling you a car is a personal favor they are doing for you.



AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Look at all the other negative reviews online if you need more persuading to give this dealership a miss.
