Our complete dental implant service, branded Fremantle Implants, is lead by Dr Henry Chan, one of the most experienced and dedicated Implant dentist in WA. Our brand new clinic has now been completed (2015) to provide even more comfort to our patients.

Since gaining a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia, Henry has devoted his professional life to the science and art of implant and prosthetic dentistry; including dental cosmetics, bone grafting and sinus augmentation. His extensive, worldwide post graduate education continually exceeds the state's requirements. Henry is currently completing a Masters degree in Oral Implantology (Goethe University Frankfurt)

What is aesthetic restoration?
Aesthetic restoration aims to keep you smiling & using your teeth naturally. Techniques such as crowns, composite fillings and bridges are used to repair and replace teeth. The colour and shapes are carefully matched to your natural teeth so they blend in seamlessly.
What is general dentistry?
General dentistry provides all the services to help you stay on top of your oral health. This includes maintenance like regular cleanings and examinations, reparative work like fillings, and oral surgery like wisdom teeth extraction and root canal work. We can also diagnose and help you alleviate headaches and pain from teeth grinding and clenching.
What are the alternatives?
If you only have a mild apprehension of needles or dental procedures, an alternative to IV sedation could be inhalation sedation. This is achieved by breathing in nitrous oxide gas (laughing gas) during the procedure.
What is sedation (sleep) dentistry?
Sedation dentistry, also called sleep dentistry or twilight sleep dentistry, is the use of IV (intravenous) sedation drugs to induce a deeply-relaxed state during long or complex procedures. Although you remain conscious of what is happening, you won't actually be bothered by anything! Despite the name "sleep dentistry", you are not actually put to sleep. You will be able to respond to requests made by the dentist. IV sedation is not general anaesthesia.

Ok so I know most people think that their dentist is the best and I also used to think that too until I came to South Street Dental.
Henry and his team are by far the BEST dental practice I have ever been to in AUS or NZ.
Whether it is surgery or just a filling, Henry has used his skills, experience and understanding nature to make the experience as pain free and comfortable as possible for me!
He is truly an extremely talented man with the backing of an excellent admin team and hygienists which makes their service second to none.
I HIGHLY recommend Henry to anyone who is anxious about going to the dentist as he makes the experience seem like a breeze.
Trust me you will NOT be disappointed!
(And no, I did not get paid for writing this review nor do I have any personal association with anyone at South Street Dental lol)

I visited South St Dental for the first time last week and cannot speak highly enough about my experience. The staff are friendly and professional and the practice itself is modern and immaculate. Dr Chan was wonderful-he took plenty of time to explain everything to me and constantly checked I was OK throughout, he is amazing at what he does! Im looking forward to my next visit:)

I don't usually do reviews but this is the first dental center I'm actually not afraid of going to. The staff are super friendly and most importantly Dr. Chan is so professional and gentle while working on my teeth. My kids love seeing Rebecca the hygienist because she gives them (and me) special bubble gum flavoured mouth wash! Well done SS Dental, five stars service!

A very modern and inviting practice with friendly staff. A toy basket and books to entertain my 2 year old :) Henry is a great dentist that always puts me at ease with his warm nature. Highly recommend this practice!

Great practice, immaculate and polite, friendly front of house staff. The hygienist was brilliant with my children and a normally painful experience was made fun! Happy to have finally found a great dentist in Au!
