Dapper Doggy Daycare & Grooming

I have been sending my senior toy poodle cross to Graham and Mary for his clip for many years now and I can to say that compared to a previous groomer, he always comes away happy, relaxed and with a professional clip. I believe the years of experience and gentle nature of both Graham and Mary comes across with how they handle their four legged clients. I recommend Dapper Dog to any pet owner, specially if your dog has an anxious nature.

If you want your dog groomed by people who know what they are doing then this is the place for you. The owners have years of experience on all different breeds and do a great job on my terrier. They are not very chatty but that's fine by me, I just want to get in and out and know that my dog will be professionally clipped. You also usually don't have to wait weeks on end for an appointment.

I have been getting my shih-tzu " Tweeny " groomed here for 4 years.. She always looks adorable and is happier going there than coming home.. Apart from being good groomers the lady seems to spot health issues that may cause Tweeny problems if they are not seen to.

Graham and Mary have been trusted to groom our two previous Westies for their whole lives - 15 years. We now have two young Westies again (9 months) and today was their fourth visit to Dapper Dogs.
As always their grooming is spot-on. They look great and we would happily recommend (if fact we do) Dapper Dogs to any and all dog owners who ask where we get such a good job done on our two.

If you care about your dog do NOT use this business. The woman there who grooms the dogs is cruel to them. I watched as she yanked and shoved dogs until they yelped and heard her throw a dog in a cage out the back until it yelped. I left with my dog before she could finish grooming him. He was very distressed when we left and to make matters worse he clearly had not been able to drink water or urinate for the three hours he had been there. I had read a bad review but hoped it was not accurate but as I arrived early this time (before she had finished grooming him) I witnessed the cruelty first hand.
